Ken has over 25 years of experience in the Yellow Pages industry in both domestic and international markets, working on both print and electronic products. Most recently Ken was VP-Business Development at Yellow Pages I.M.A., the leading Association for the industry.

His efforts there included positioning the Yellow Pages industry as a leading advertising media with key external groups (ANA, AAAA, and DMA), development and implementation of the ELITE order processing system through which some $2 billion in advertising orders flow, continued developments to the industry's Rates & Data products, and expansion of its co-op advertising programs.

He was responsible for 80% of the Associations non-dues related revenue.

Prior to YPIMA, he led the start-up of operations for ChinaBig, a print and Internet Yellow Pages company based in the People's Republic of China and Hong Kong. The ChinaBig effort was part of 7 years at R. H. Donnelley, where Ken was the AVP - Client Services. His early efforts included coordinated the transition of publishing services to a new $50 million system, the relocation of publishing operations to a new facility in Raleigh, NC, and the subsequent re-staffing of the organization. The transition was completed, and new technology was introduced, while maintaining the print schedules for over 280 books produced annually.

Ken started in the industry with Bell Atlantic. His last position there was as Director - Multimedia Product Development. In this role, he led initiatives to develop and implement new electronic directory products for consumers and hotel guests that have become the foundation for many of today's electronic products.

Ken is the former mayor of the town of Sykesville, Maryland. He holds a B.S. in economics from State University of New York at Stony Brook, an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore and a US Patent for an Enhanced Access Telecommunications Device (No.5218633).
